Freedom of Choice

The Liar's Convention is over. I couldn't watch it but I did see Eastwood's bizarre performance and Rubio's appeal to the Christian Right. As for Ryan, I couldn't do. I read the transcript - and the fact checking it required. And I tried to watch Romney - I fell asleep within five minutes. (Though in the interest of full disclosure I had a few Guinness prior to tuning in.) There's so much outrage over the election I really have to start getting it out of my system. The Daily Show is providing the best overview of the week's events. But there's no better piece than Sam Bee talking to Republican delegates about the abortion plank in the GOP platform. The hypocrisy would be unbelievable if you weren't seeing it for yourself.
